FleetMouse Refund Policy
This is how Dreamodus Software Inc. refunds a FleetMouse purchase. It is the slice of the Terms and Conditions that a merchant of record will insist on as its own page. It is not the licence to run the software, and it is not the privacy policy. A refunded seat stops.
At a glance
- How to ask: email info@dreamodus.software from the address on the purchase, with the subject “Refund”. Do not put a licence key in that first message.
- Our refund: ask within 30 days of the purchase and we refund what you paid for those seats, without requiring a reason (section 5).
- Statutory rights: a consumer’s mandatory cancellation and conformity rights remain. This Policy does not take them away.
- What a refund does: the seats you paid for stop. A partial refund releases the newest activations. A refund of every seat revokes the key. The confirmation does not repeat the key.
- Trial and beta: not a paid purchase. There is no price to return.

This policy
This Refund Policy (this “Policy”) is a contract between you and Dreamodus Software Inc. (“Dreamodus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, about refunds of a FleetMouse purchase. It is incorporated into the Terms and Conditions. If there is a conflict about a refund, this Policy governs the refund; the Terms govern the rest of the sale.
Paid seats are a one-time purchase of a licence, not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal, no recurring charge, and no in-app refund countdown. Québec rules that cap cancellation penalties on contracts of successive performance for distance services are not this product. Do not read a paid seat as a monthly plan.
3
How to ask
Write to info@dreamodus.software from the email on the purchase. Put “Refund” in the subject line. Say how many seats you want refunded, or that you want the whole purchase reversed. You do not have to give a reason.
Do not put a licence key in that first message. If we need it to locate the record, we will ask in the reply. We already keep a purchase record (payment reference, event, seat counts before and after) when a purchase or refund is posted to us.
Remove all my data is not a refund request. It clears that copy of the Software. It does not return money, and it does not erase the email or the licence row on our side.
There is no refund button in the app, and no countdown next to the licence. A refund is this email.

Statutory rights that this Policy does not replace
If you bought as a consumer, mandatory rights remain. This Policy does not exclude them, limit them, or make you waive them. Nothing here is an unfair practice, a class-proceeding waiver, or a requirement that a consumer submit a future dispute to arbitration.
4.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), a consumer who buys at a distance has 14 days to withdraw, without giving a reason. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that period runs from the day the contract is entered into.
In the EU, that 14-day right is lost only if all of the following are true: performance has begun; you gave prior express consent to begin during the withdrawal period; you acknowledged that you thereby lose the right to withdraw; and we (or the merchant of record) confirmed the contract, including that consent and that acknowledgement. If any of those is missing, you may still withdraw in the 14 days, and you bear no cost for content already supplied.
In the United Kingdom the right is lost once supply begins after your express consent and acknowledgement. If we did not also send you the confirmation the regulations require, you may still cancel and you bear no cost for content already supplied.
Conformity rights sit beside withdrawal. The UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (and the equivalent EU digital-content rules) require digital content to be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for the purpose made known. A refund owed under those rules is paid without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of our agreeing you are entitled, by the same means of payment, as that Act requires. The End-User Licence Agreement’s 30-day material-conformity warranty for a paid seat is our contractual statement of that idea; it does not shorten a longer statutory remedy.
4.2 Québec
Québec’s Consumer Protection Act does not give a general seven-day right to change your mind on a compliant online purchase. A consumer may cancel a distance contract in the cases the Act names, including:
- we did not send a copy of the contract within 15 days — then 30 days from the purchase to cancel;
- mandatory information was missing or poorly presented before the purchase, or the contract as received is missing it or cannot easily be saved and printed — then 7 days after receiving the contract (and, in some cases, 7 days after receiving the item, the service, or the card statement);
- we did not perform our principal obligation within 30 days of the date stated, or of the purchase if no date was stated — then at any time before that performance.
Where that statutory cancellation applies, the merchant has 15 days after the notice to reimburse. Delivery of the licence key is our principal obligation for this purchase, and it is performed when the key is made available to you on your customer portal.
A merchant may also offer a voluntary refund. Section 5 is that offer, once the window is a published number. It is not a substitute for the Act, and it is not a claim that the Act gives a general cooling-off.
4.3 Rest of Canada, and elsewhere
British Columbia’s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act cooling-off for direct sales (door-to-door and similar) is not a website purchase the consumer initiated. Other provincial distance-sales rules may still apply. We do not invent a ten-day internet cooling-off that the Act does not give.
If another place’s consumer law applies to you, the rights it gives you remain. We do not reprint every statute.

Our refund
If you ask under section 3 within 30 days of the purchase, we refund the amount you paid us for those seats, without requiring a reason. The clock runs from that purchase — a later purchase of more seats on the same key has its own clock, and we refund only what that later purchase cost if the original purchase is outside the window.
After that window, we still refund where section 4 requires it, and where the End-User Licence Agreement’s paid-seat warranty requires it (we cannot repair a material non-conformity). Wanting a later major version is not a defect in the version you bought. A new major version is a new licence.
A trial or complimentary beta has no purchase price. Section 8.

What a refund does to the licence
These are product facts. A refund policy that left refunded seats running would be a seat count that lies. The Terms use the same table.
| Event | What happens to the licence | What happens on machines |
|---|---|---|
| Partial refund of seats | The paid licence shrinks by those seats. The key stays. | The newest activations are released at once. Those machines stop the tools and spanning. |
| Refund of every seat | A shrink to zero is refused. The intended act is a revocation of the key. | All seats stop the tools and spanning once that machine next talks to us. |
| Trial or beta | Not a paid purchase. No money to return. | Expiry stops the tools and spanning. The manager still launches. |
Newest means last activated. If two machines activated in the same second, insertion order breaks the tie. A stop must never strand the keyboard. Pairing records are not deleted by a refund. We cannot push a stop to an offline machine.
A confirmation of a refund does not repeat the key. Seat release is not company-side erasure of the email or the licence row.
7
Partial refunds and extra seats
You may ask us to refund some of the seats on a paid key and keep the rest. We refund the amount you paid for the seats you are giving back. Those seats are the newest activations, because the seats just bought are the seats just refunded.
Further paid seats grow the existing paid licence. The key does not change. You cannot buy extra seats onto a trial or beta key.
8
Trial and complimentary beta
A trial and a complimentary time-limited key (beta) are issued per fleet, not per person. One trial per email address. They are not a paid purchase. There is no price to refund.
Public trial is not offered from Account. An unlicensed copy is enter the key from your purchase, or a key we issued for beta. The live trial default is configurable. It is not a published offer.
When a trial or beta expires, the tools and spanning stop. The manager still launches. That is not a refund.
9
What this Policy is not
Subject to section 4, this Policy is not:
- a refund of a trial or beta (there was no purchase price);
- a refund because a later major version exists — that SKU is a new licence;
- a refund because a paid “updates through” date has passed — that date is a notice, not a stop, and a build past that window keeps running;
- a refund of tax you owe in your place that we did not collect;
- company-side erasure of the licence record, or a substitute for Remove all my data;
- a promise that we can remotely un-pair a machine, or push a stop to a machine that does not talk to us.
10
How we pay it back
We refund the amount you paid for the seats being returned, including tax we collected on that amount, by the original payment method. We cannot send it by a different rail.
We refund without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of accepting the request or of a statutory cancellation taking effect — the outer bound the UK Consumer Rights Act uses for a digital-content refund, and inside the 15 days Québec gives a merchant after a statutory cancellation notice. Your bank or card issuer may take longer to show it.
Dreamodus does not collect card numbers. A purchase record is not a card.
11
Chargebacks
If you have a genuine problem, write to us first under section 3. A chargeback opened without that step, on a key that was delivered and activated, is a payment dispute we will contest.
A chargeback, a reversed payment, or a fraud claim that succeeds is treated as a refund of the seats that payment covered, using section 6. Those seats stop. We may refuse further sales to the same email, the same licence key, or the same payment identity.
This section does not stop a consumer from using a chargeback right that applicable law gives them — including the Québec path that follows a merchant’s failure to reimburse within 15 days of a valid statutory cancellation.
12
Who refunds
Until a merchant of record is named, Dreamodus Software Inc. is the seller and the party that refunds. We are the licensor in every case.
13
Changes
We may update this Policy. The version that applied to a purchase continues to govern that purchase. A later purchase — including more seats, or a new major version — is under the Policy then posted at fleetmouse.com.
A change required by law may apply from the date we post it, except that a consumer retains any right the applicable consumer law gives them to refuse a unilateral amendment. We will not silently shorten the refund that already applied to a purchase you have completed.

Telephone: +1 236-490-8833
Email: info@dreamodus.software
Please put “Refund” in the subject line. We will not ask you to send a licence key in an unsolicited email; if we need it to locate a record, we will say so in the reply.
Governing law and venue for this Policy are the same as for the Terms. British Columbia is the working home; a consumer may bring a claim in the courts of their place of residence to the extent mandatory consumer law so requires. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
